The location
moonweb.org was located in Augsburg, Germany. The location was connected to two additional locations: one in the same house via a 10 Mbit thin-Ethernet cable, and another to the Springfield.net network via a demand dial RAS connection. The next step was to build a much wider network with the new network project 'VPN demand dial connection'.
The Main Environment
There were some old servers which did not run very fast, so don't expect too much. The main server, the internet access, and the two client hubs (10 Mbit and 100 Mbit) were connected with a SOHO switch.
